The Baron's cruel nephew Bang-Bang is trying to take over Wise-as-an-Owl's fresh water spring. To stop him, Tashi and his friends use clay and magic to make a golem who will give Bang-Bang a good scare. But it seems like the golem has plans of his own In the meantime, Tashi must rescue Ah Chu's Little Sister when Bang-Bang's trouble-making brother gives her away to the River Pirate.

Anna Fienberg is the author of many popular and award-winning books for children of all ages, and has picture books, junior fiction and teenage fiction to her credit. She has worked as an editor and consultant for a national book club, and also writes in collaboration with her mother, Barbara Fienberg. Barbara Fienberg writes the Tashi stories in collaboration with her daughter Anna Fienberg.
